Job summary

Aptiv HVT in Italy is seeking a results-driven leader to head the Work Preparation and Toolmaking team. You will plan and manage in-house tool shop projects, from new injection mold development to repair and maintenance for serial production.

You will drive project planning, cost, and delivery targets while fostering cross-functional collaboration and continuous process improvements. Strong leadership, German and English language skills, and hands-on toolmaking experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Several years of project management experience in a technical environment.
• Experience in mechanical engineering or toolmaking is preferred.
• Fluent (or strong) German and English language skills.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities with a structured, solution-oriented style.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and develop the team.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute projects and orders while meeting quality, cost, and delivery targets.
• Drive process improvements, organizational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Manage internal toolmaking projects from quotation preparation and work planning to completion.
• Coordinate with the Machining Production Team Leader for smooth project execution.
