Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas in Milan seeks a General Ledger & Tax Specialist to join the Finance & Administration team. You will support the Head of Finance in accounting processes and tax matters, ensuring accurate financial statements and timely deadlines.

Responsibilities include VAT checks, tax filings (VAT, Form 770, CU, Declarations of Intent), liaising with external advisors, audits, and IRES/IRAP calculations. English essential; SAP experience welcome. Role based in Italy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or related field.
2–3 years of experience in a similar role and/or in audit; Big Four experience is a plus.
Knowledge of IAS/IFRS would be a plus.
Excellent command of English; Spanish would be an advantage.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office; SAP experience would be a plus.

Responsibilities

Manage periodic accounting activities, including VAT register checks and maintenance of statutory books.
Prepare tax returns and filings (VAT, Form 770, CU, Declarations of Intent), including electronic submissions and F24 payments.
Liaise with external tax advisory firm and support audits.
Support calculation of IRES and IRAP for closings and tax returns.
Review and update tax procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
