Job summary

Minor Hotels Europe & Americas in Milan is seeking a General Ledger & Tax Specialist to support the Head of Finance in administrative and financial processes. You will manage accounting activities through to financial statements and handle tax matters, ensuring compliance with procedures and deadlines.

The role is within the Finance & Administration Department. Ideal candidates have 2–3 years of relevant experience, IAS/IFRS knowledge, and strong Excel/SAP skills, with English fluency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in a similar role and/or in audit; Big Four experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IAS/IFRS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage VAT register checks and the maintenance of statutory accounting books.
• Prepare tax returns and filings (VAT, Form 770, CU, Declarations of Intent), including electronic submissions and F24 payments.
• Liaise with the external tax advisory firm.
• Support auditing activities and provide documentation for internal and external audits.
• Assist in calculating IRES and IRAP corporate taxes for monthly/annual closings and tax returns.
• Review and update tax procedures to ensure local regulatory compliance.
