Marsh is seeking a Talent Solution Leader for Europe to drive a pan‑European talent practice at the intersection of strategic HR advisory and people science. The role combines commercial leadership with deep subject‑matter expertise in assessment, leadership development and employee experience.

The ideal candidate will bring 15+ years in human capital consulting, 7+ years in senior leadership, and a track record of selling €3M+ annually while leading cross‑border teams and engaging C‑suite

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workforce & Reward European Talent Practice, part of our People and Investments business at Marsh (formerly Mercer Career).

The Workforce & Reward European Talent Practice sits at the intersection of strategic HR advisory and specialist people science. The ideal leader must credibly sell into CHROs and Boards, while also being substantively fluent in the mechanics of assessment psychometrics, leadership development, and experience design. This is a hybrid profile - part commercial, part practice builder, part subject‑matter expert.

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 15+ years in human capital / talent consulting, with a clear trajectory from individual contributor to practice/P&L leader.
• 7+ years in a senior leadership role — Partner, Managing Director, Practice Lead, or Regional Head — with demonstrable P&L ownership (ideally €50M+ book).
• Pan‑European operating experience — has personally led cross‑border teams, not just sold cross‑border projects. Comfortable in at least two of: UK, DACH, France, Benelux, Nordics, Southern Europe.
• Client portfolio should include FTSE 100 / DAX / CAC 40 / Euro Stoxx 50 companies, with at least some Board and CEO‑level engagement history.

Domain Expertise (must have depth in at least 3 of 4)

• Leadership Assessment: psychometrics, executive assessment for selection/succession, C-suite appointment advisory, assessment-for-development methodologies.
• Leadership Development: executive education design, top‑team effectiveness, succession architecture, leadership pipeline design, coaching program design.
• Assessment (broader): high‑volume assessment, assessment centres, AI-enabled assessment, talent analytics, potential identification frameworks.
• Employee Experience: EX design, engagement strategy, listening architecture, journey mapping, culture transformation, linking EX to business outcomes.
• Transformation advisory — succession, workforce planning, skills frameworks, org design adjacencies.

Leadership & Commercial Attributes

• Demonstrable revenue origination: has personally sold €3M+ annually in talent advisory work.
• Has built or meaningfully scaled a practice — not just inherited one.
• Credible with CHROs and CEOs; comfortable in Board rooms.
• Can integrate data/tech/AI into traditional consulting — Mercer is moving hard on AI-enabled talent products.
• Matrix navigator: Mercer Career sits inside MMC alongside Marsh, Guy Carpenter, Oliver Wyman. Candidates allergic to matrix environments will fail here.
• Multilingual preferred (English non‑negotiable; German, French, or Dutch as a second language is a advantage for a pan‑European role).
