Job summary

Canon Italia is seeking a System Implementation Specialist to deliver professional services for the development and implementation of assigned projects. You will analyze client requirements, configure modules, and manage data migrations within established processes to ensure successful deployments.

The role involves documentation, knowledge transfer, and a smooth handover to the support team, with collaboration across IT and client teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related field.
• Fluent knowledge of English.
• Database and operating system knowledge (Windows, Linux, etc.).
• Basic understanding of enterprise cloud solutions (Azure/EntraID preferred).
• Basic virtualization (Hyper-V, VMware).
• Knowledge of security networks and firewalls.

We are looking for a System Implementation Specialist who will provide technical professional services implementation for the development and implementation of assigned projects.

Responsibilities

Main resposibilities:

• Analyses, assesses and documents client requirements while adhering to established processes and procedures.
• Develops functional configuration specifications upon a thorough analysis of business requirements.
• Supports the configuration of application modules, data migration, and data import processes, ensuring alignment with client requirements and project objectives.
• Assists in the completion of assigned software implementation projects and activities, while adhering to established working processes and methods.
• Ensure a smooth and effective handover of the delivered project to the support team, providing all necessary documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational guidance to enable a successful transition to ongoing support.
• Document technical configurations and implementation details, ensuring all relevant information is accurately maintained and shared within the company's IT systems and knowledge management platforms.

Qualifications

Skills required:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related fiedl o alternatively with strong experience in enterprise software architecture configuration.
• Fluent knowledge of English
• Database and operating systmes knowledge skills (e.g. MS Windows Service, Apple iOS, Linux, *nix), Microsft Azure/EntraID Solutions (preferred) or basic understanding of enterprise cloud solutions.
• Base knowledge skills of virtualized environment (Hyper-V, VMWare, etc).
• Base knowledge skills of security network and firewalls policy.
• ITIL v4 Foundation or any other service or ICT certification preferred.

Technical skills required:

System expertise —understanding of Customer architectures, data models, workflows, constraints.
Functional analysis — Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
Application configuration — Configure modules, parameters, business rules without coding.
Data mapping — Map fields, tables, and data flows between legacy and modern systems.
Integration knowledge — Understanding flow of interaction or integration between systems.
Testing & validation — Create test cases, validate functional flows, support UAT.
Troubleshooting — Diagnose functional issues and propose corrective actions.
Documentation — Produce clear functional documentation and user guides.

What we offer:

• Permanent Contract
• The position is classified at level 1 of National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) for employees of companies in the tertiary sector of distribution and services, CNEL code H011. The gross annual salary for the role ranges between 40.000 - 45.000 euros.

The determination of the final starting salary within this range will be agreed upon taking into acounts the compnay's organizational context, the provisions of the applicable CCNL and objective, gender-neutral criteria such as: professional qualifications and experience, level of knowledge or skils held, as well as the scope and level of responsibility of the position offered.

Additional benefits and allowances may also be granted in accordance with applicable regulations, the relevant CCNL and the company policies and programs in force at the start date of employement.
