RINA is seeking an Embedded Software & Data Processing Engineer to join the Rome office, supporting the Embedded Software development for A&D, and to supervise software activities in the Operating Engine division.

You will design, develop and verify embedded software, working across Linux-based environments, cross-compilers, and modern DevOps workflows. The role requires experience with x86/ARM and real-time systems, with a strong emphasis on quality and collaboration.

Competenze

• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
• Experience with Python and MATLAB.
• Experience in the development of Embedded Real-Time Systems.
• Proficiency with Linux-based development environments and embedded Linux platforms.
• Experience with x86 and ARM architectures.
• Knowledge of cross-compilation environments and C/C++ cross-compilers for embedded targets.
• Experience with software build systems and development toolchains, including Makefiles, Docker, and DevOps workflows.

Mission

Rina is looking for a Software Embedded Engineer in Rome, to partecipate and supervise software development activities. In particular, this position focusing on designing, developing and verifying embedded software for A&D field.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of C/C++ programming languages.
• Experience with interpreted and scientific programming languages such as Python and MATLAB.
• Experience in the development of Embedded Real-Time Systems.
• Proficiency with Linux-based development environments and embedded Linux platforms.
• Experience with x86 and ARM architectures.
• Knowledge of cross-compilation environments and C/C++ cross-compilers for embedded targets.
• Experience with software build systems and development toolchains, including Makefiles, Docker, and DevOps workflows.

Education

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or Other
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering General

Compensation Data

The salary range and job grade for this position are defined based on objective, role-related criteria and responsibilities in accordance with CCNL RINA (CNEL code I480).

The gross annual salary range foreseen is between €31,000 and €40,000 and will be finally defined on candidate's professional experience, qualifications, competencies and overall alignment with the role. In addition, an annual variable compensation component is provided, based on both Company and individual performance objectives in accordance with the current policies and collective agreements. The overall compensation package is complemented by the Company's welfare.
