NHOA Energy, a global provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems, is offering an internship in Sustainability & ESG. You will support ESG data collection, carbon footprint analyses, and sustainability reporting within an international environment.

The role provides hands-on experience across supply chain sustainability, stakeholder engagement, and reporting, with hybrid work in Milan and international exposure.

Competenze

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in sustainability, environment or energy related fields.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, climate change, and energy transition.
  • Good analytical skills and confidence working with data.
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Fluent English.
  • Strong attention to detail and proactive mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate in an international, multidisciplinary environment.

Mansioni

  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data and KPIs.
  • Assist in sustainability report preparation and disclosures.
  • Support carbon footprint calculations and climate initiatives.
  • Assist with sustainability assessments across supply chain and responsible sourcing.

Sustainability & ESG Intern

We’re looking for a curious and motivated Sustainability & ESG Intern to join our Sustainability team and contribute to projects that support the energy transition.

As a global provider of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), NHOA Energy is committed to creating positive environmental and social impact across its entire value chain. This internship offers the opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in ESG reporting, carbon footprint analysis, sustainable supply chains, stakeholder engagement, and sustainability strategy within an international environment.

What you’ll do
  • Support the collection, analysis, and reporting of ESG data and sustainability KPIs
  • Contribute to the preparation of sustainability reports and disclosures
  • Support carbon footprint calculations and climate-related initiatives
  • Assist with sustainability assessments across the supply chain and responsible sourcing activities
  • Contribute to stakeholder engagement, ESG research, benchmarking, and materiality assessments
  • Collaborate with different business functions on cross-functional sustainability projects
  • Support the creation of presentations, dashboards, and analyses for internal stakeholders
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental or Energy Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Economics, Management, Sustainable Finance, or related fields
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, climate change, and the energy transition
  • Good analytical skills and confidence working with data
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluent English
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a proactive mindset
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in an international and multidisciplinary environment
Nice to have
  • Academic or project exposure to ESG reporting, carbon accounting, GHG Protocol, GRI Standards, SBTi, or related frameworks
  • Knowledge of sustainable supply chains, ESG due diligence, or responsible sourcing topics

Location: Hybrid remote and Milan Offices.
