ABB is seeking an Environmental Specialist for its sites in Frosinone and Ferentino to support the group sustainability strategy. You will ensure regulatory compliance, manage permits, and oversee waste management, driving improvements across ABB's operations in Italy.

The role requires 1-2 years’ experience, a relevant degree, and strong Italian and English skills. The position offers onsite work with potential hybrid options and a focus on health, safety and environment initiatives.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or related field.
• 1-2 years of professional experience in environmental roles in Italy.
• In-depth knowledge of Italian environmental legislation (Legislative Decree 152/2006).
• Auditor/Lead Auditor certification for ISO 14001 & ISO 50001 or EMAS preferred.
• Proficiency with digital environmental tools and systems (e.g., electronic waste registries, RENTRI).
• Fluent in Italian; strong English proficiency.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure operations comply with Italian environmental laws and regional regulations.
• Manage environmental permits including AUA and water discharge (Title IV).
• Oversee hazardous and non-hazardous waste management with Facility Management.
• Conduct internal audits for ISO 14001 & ISO 50001; drive corrective actions.
• Collaborate with HSE Manager and authorities during inspections and controls.
• Provide training on environmental & sustainability best practices.
