Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking an HVAC inspection professional to ensure vessel projects meet HVAC specifications, conduct daily inspections, and manage open items with the shipyard and technical office.

You will participate in sea trials and coordinate with the operating company during commissioning and post-delivery follow-up. The role requires 5 years in a similar role, strong MS Office skills, and English proficiency (B1+).

Competenze

• 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Proficient in MS Office and able to communicate in English at B1 or higher.
• Strong teamwork and excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Conduct daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf in accordance with the shipyard schedule.
• Follow up open items from the construction process with the Yard representatives and attend meetings with the Yard technical office and production teams for defects and remarks discussion and resolution.
• Report to the Sr Manager, HVAC-R with reference to the progress of the production, the status of the open items and any main open issues.
• Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during the inspection and commissioning period.
• Take part in the sea trials.
• Support the operating company after the Vessel delivery to follow up open items coming from the construction and commissioning period and/or to complete part of the commissioning after delivery.
• Support the HVAC-R team for specific topics relevant to the Vessel project development.
• Take part in FAT on Owner’s behalf.
• Patrolling activities

Using their essential experience within HVAC, the role holder ensures proper execution of the project, delivering a vessel which meets the agreed HVAC specifications detailed within the contractual documents, including all technical specifications and annexes. Working with numerous teams, the role holder will undertake daily inspections of the vessel ensuring that the Manager is kept up to date with the projects progress. They will hold regular meetings with the technical office to ensure any defects are resolved quickly and efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS

DEGREE TYPE:

High School Diploma

Maritime

EXPERIENCE

• 5 years within a similar role
