Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd. is seeking an Interior Outfitting professional to perform daily shipyard inspections and coordinate with the yard and operating teams. The role supports the vessel’s interior fit-out to align with project specs and timelines.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma in Architecture/Design and 2 years in a similar role, with CAD proficiency and strong communication skills to work across teams.

Competenze

  • High School Diploma in Architecture and Design; 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with interior outfitting and shipyard processes is preferred.
  • English language proficiency at B1 or above.

Mansioni

  • Carry out daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf according to the shipyard schedule.
  • Follow up open items from the construction process with Yard representatives.
  • Report to the Manager, Interior Outfitting regarding progress and issues.
  • Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during inspection and handover.
  • Support the operating company after vessel delivery to follow up open items from construction.
  • Assist the Interior outfitting team during vessel architectural development.
  • Assist the Interior Outfitting team during mock-up reviews.
  • Undertake patrolling activities.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Using their essential experience within interior outfitting, the role holder provides the input needed to support the proper execution of the project, delivering a vessel which meets the agreed specifications detailed within the contractual documents, including all technical specifications and annexes.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Carry out daily inspections on the Owner’s behalf in accordance with the shipyard schedule
  • Follow up open items from the construction process with the Yard representatives
  • Report to the Manager, Interior Outfitting with reference to the progress of the production, status of the open items and potential main open issues
  • Cooperate with the operating company team at the Yard during the inspection and hand over period
  • Support the operating company after the Vessel delivery to follow up open items coming from the construction and/or to complete part of the inspections and hand over after delivery
  • Support the Interior outfitting team for specific topics during the Vessel architectural development
  • Support the Interior Outfitting team during the mock-ups review.
  • Patrolling activities
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • DEGREE TYPE: High School Diploma FIELD(S) OF STUDY: Architecture and Design EXPERIENCE 2 years within a similar role.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
  • Confident using CAD/Microstation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficient in the English Language (B1 or above)
  • Demonstratable Team Working Skills
  • Good Communication Skills
