Job summary

Atwell, LLC is seeking a Survey CAD Technician to support design staff, produce AutoCAD Civil 3D project drawings, and analyze survey data. The role involves editing plans per agency and client revisions, coordinating workflows, and ensuring projects align with Atwell standards.

The position offers a hybrid work arrangement and requires experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and knowledge of Atlas/Topo/boundaries. Ohio travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Previous AutoCAD Civil 3D experience.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center (TBC).
• High School Diploma required; an Associate Degree preferred.
• Thorough understanding of Atlas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking.
• Previous experience with Point cloud.

Responsibilities

• Resourceful support: guide drafting practices and procedures for design staff.
• CAD proficiency: use AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software to produce projects per Atwell standards.
• Drawing production: create ALTA maps, final plats, dedication maps, construction layouts and staking.
• Survey data analysis: review survey data, including ALTA surveys and easement/ condo documents.
• Plan modification: update plans per agency/municipal/client revisions.
• Workflow coordination: keep PMs and team Leaders informed to meet chargeability goals.

This position offers a hybrid work arrangement and is open to candidates residing anywhere in Ohio, with the ability to travel to the Atwell office as needed.

As aSurvey CAD Technician at Atwell, you will work on diverse projects with various sizes, scopes, and details. You will work in a flexible work environment with a fantastic culture and a presence.

• Resourceful Support:Act as a valuable resource for design staff, guiding drafting practices and procedures.

• CAD Proficiency:Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software to complete assignments, ensuring they align with Atwell's standards.

• Drawing Production:Generate various drawings specific to projects, including ALTA, Final Plats, Maps of Dedication, construction layouts, and construction staking.

• Survey Data Analysis:Review project survey data to analyze existing site conditions, considering factors like legal descriptions, ALTA Surveys, easement documents, and condo documents.

• Plan Modification:Responsibly edit and modify plans in line with revisions from agencies, municipalities, and clients, following directives closely.

• Workflow Coordination:Maintain open communication with Project Managers and Team Leaders regarding workflow status, ensuring the team meets chargeability goals.

• High School Diploma Required, Associated Degree
• Thorough understanding of Altas, Topo's, Boundaries, and Construction Staking
