Mountain View Lodge, Aviano Air Base, Italy, is the location for a NAF position with the 31st Force Support Squadron. Open to US citizens or NATO country citizens with eligible statuses, the role requires progressively responsible supply experience and strong clerical skills in a government setting.
Applicants must provide evidence of eligibility by the closing date and meet experience requirements including typing, verbal and written communication abilities.

This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 31st Force Support Squadron at Aviano AB, Italy. Who May Apply: Open to everyone. Applicants will be categorized by preference(s) and/or priority consideration eligibilities. An applicant's eligibility will be determined based on eligibility claimed in the questionnaire and proof of eligibility MUST be provided with application by the closing date, 08/24/2026.
The Area of Consideration for this vacancy announcement is US Citizens or NATO country citizens with a valid US permanent resident card and Social Security Number. In accordance with the Status of Forces agreement between Italy and the US, you must be at Aviano AB on orders and be a US citizen or citizen of a NATO country with a US permanent resident card. Italian citizens may not apply for US NAF positions; however, may be eligible for local national positions on base. Must be able to provide documentation proving residence status overseas. Legal US residents must possess a social security number and be citizens of a NATO country.
The 31st Force Support Squadron is not currently providing logistical support. Applicants must provide proper documentation indicating they are already a supported member of Aviano AB.
In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Progressively responsible experience in supply work which provided knowledge of rules, regulations, procedures, and program requirements of the local supply organization and the organizations serviced.
Knowledge of supply inventory and accountability procedures and regulations.
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to apply basic analytical methods and techniques to resolve supply problems and/or deviations from normal supply management procedures or program requirements.
Knowledge and ability to perform a range of standard clerical assignments and to resolve recurring problems.
Typing skills are required.
Ability to communicate orally and in writing.
