Prysmian in Milan is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer Intern to support the Costing and Materials area of the Transmission Business Unit. Based in Milan, you will assist with supplier QA activities and learn how raw material controls integrate into production.

You will review COAs, help update specifications, monitor KPIs, and participate in supplier audits and risk assessments under guidance from the Supplier Quality Manager.

Competenze

• Recent graduate in Materials Science, Physics, Engineering, or related field.
• Proactive, curious, detail-oriented, and genuinely interested in quality and supplier processes.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Mansioni

• Review information reported in Certificates of Analysis from raw material suppliers.
• Ensure supplier raw material specifications and quality requirements are kept up to date.
• Follow up on raw material qualification activities.
• Contribute to follow-up of supplier quality issues related to materials.
• Assist with material risk assessments and action plans.
• Monitor supplier quality KPIs and performance trends.
• Participate in periodic reviews with plant Quality Managers on supplier quality topics.
• Prepare and follow up on supplier audit reports.
• Collect and review supplier process documentation such as process flow charts and control plans.
