Xylem cerca un Supplier Quality Engineer per assicurare che i fornitori rispettino standard di qualità, regolamentari e aziendali durante tutto il ciclo di vita del prodotto. Guiderai qualificazioni fornitori, audit, azioni di miglioramento e sviluppo fornitori in progetti NPD, collaborando con team trasversali per spingere le performance.

La posizione prevede un ruolo ibrido presso Montecchio Maggiore (VI) e richiede buone capacità di comunicazione in inglese.

Competenze

• Laurea in ingegneria preferita; equivalenza valutata con esperienza rilevante.
• Almeno 2 anni di esperienza nel ruolo o ambito affini.
• Buone capacità di comunicazione scritta e parlata in inglese obbligatorie.

Mansioni

• Qualificare, valutare e sviluppare fornitori per standard di qualità dell’azienda.
• Condurre audit fornitori, inclusi audit di sistema e di processo.
• Guidare analisi delle root cause su problemi di qualità fornitori e non conformità.
• Gestire azioni di contenimento per fornitori ad alto impatto.
• Identificare fornitori ad alto rischio e definire piani di miglioramento.
• Guidare attività di campionamento e validazione (PPAP) su progetti diversi.
• Partecipare a revisioni di progettazione e NPD per identificare rischi di produzione.
• Mantenere rapporti efficaci con approvvigionamento, ingegneria, produzione e altri reparti.

THE ROLE

The Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) ensures suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and company standards throughout the product lifecycle. You will lead supplier qualifications, audits, quality improvement initiatives, and supplier development activities, while supporting New Product Development projects and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to drive supplier performance and product quality.

Principal Responsibilities

• Qualify, assess, and develop suppliers to meet company quality standards.
• Conduct supplier audits, including system and process audits.
• Lead root cause analysis related to supplier quality issues and non-conformances.
• Manage high impact suppliers' quality issues by coordinating containment actions to minimize impact on production and customers.
• Identify high-risk suppliers and establish improvement plans.
• Lead sampling activities and validation (PPAP) on different types of projects.
• Participate in design reviews and New Product Development (NPD) activities to preventively identify manufacturing risks, process limitations, and supplier capability gaps before supplier award and/or product launch.
• Maintain successful relationships with supply, engineering, manufacturing, and other departments.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Materials engineering) is preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience may be considered. At least 2 years of experience. Good communication skill in written and spoken English is mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

• Auditor certification/qualification
• Basic knowledge of APQP methods and tools
• Basic knowledge of CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) operation
• Knowledge and competencies about fabrication and stamping processes is a plus
