Westinghouse Electric Italy SpA in Monfalcone, Italy seeks a Supplier Performance Engineer to support supplier performance, quality, and on-time delivery of materials and components across projects from bid to delivery. You will assist with technical follow-up, issue identification, and documentation review, reporting to the APX Supplier Performance Manager.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering or equivalent.
• Less than 2 years of experience in manufacturing as Quality Engineer/Quality Control Technician or similar.
• Willingness to travel up to 20% per month (day trips). SAP knowledge is a plus.

About The Role

As a Supplier Performance Engineer you will support supplier performance, quality, and on‑time delivery of materials and components. You will assist with technical follow‑up, issue identification, and documentation review. Your work will help verify quality and technical requirements across Westinghouse projects—from bid and design phases through manufacturing and delivery.

You will also help evaluate suppliers and collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Project Management to track progress, monitor compliance, and support reliable, compliant supplier deliveries.

You will report to the APX Supplier Performance Manager and be located at Monfalcone, Italy.

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Assessment: Support technical evaluations of suppliers for nuclear-grade products; Support supplier development and qualification for new products/process including risk identification and mitigation
• Supplier Oversight: Support creating the supplier oversight Plan including witness and hold point strategy, and oversight cost estimates; Support coordination of Supplier Oversight Witness and Hold Points; Support documentation/procedures review
• Supplier Procurement Execution: Support scheduled meetings with Supplier and Westinghouse Project Team; Support creation of scorecards and procurement reports; Prepare supplier corrective actions, including root‑cause analysis, and overseeing Performance Improvement Plans

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Material Engineering or technical high school diploma combined with equivalent work experience
• Less than 2 years of experience working in manifacturing companies as Quality Engineer/Quality Control Technician/similar role
• Fluent in Italian and English
• Willingness to travel to suppliers' facilities up to 20% per month (tipically day trips)
• We consider SAP knowledge a plus

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The annual gross base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be from €37.000,00 to €48.500,00.
