Job summary

Cummins Inc. in Rome seeks a Supply Chain Planning student for a two-year, on-site position. You will learn while supporting daily SCP activities, monitor inbound shipments, and assist with transportation visibility, compliance records, and supplier follow-up. The role requires ongoing studies and English proficiency.

You will gain autonomy in routine SCP tasks and contribute to inbound volumes, including sourcing from China, within a full-time, 100% on-site environment in Italy.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a technical or economic field.
• Must have at least 2 years remaining until graduation.

Responsibilities

• Learning while also supporting daily SCP activities
• Gain increased autonomy in managing routine supply chain activities
• Monitor and track inbound shipments to ensure material availability and identify transportation risks
• Support inbound transportation visibility, carrier follow-up, and exception management
• Create, validate, and maintain UIT codes in compliance with Romanian e-Transport requirements
• Support CBAM data collection, supplier follow-up, and declaration preparation for imported materials
• Maintain transportation and compliance records, reports, and performance tracking metrics
• Provide administrative and operational support for increasing inbound volumes, including R/S sourced from China
