Job summary

Cummins in Cameri (NO), Italy, is looking for a Production & Material Planning Intern to join our Supply Chain team for a 6-month on-site internship. You will gain hands-on exposure to production processes, supplier management, inventory coordination, and end-to-end supply chain operations.

Ideal for a student or recent graduate in Management or Mechanical Engineering with strong Excel skills and good Italian/English communication.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical discipline.
Interest in production planning, material management, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.
Previous internship or practical experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

Support creation and management of production plans based on demand, material availability, and capacity.
Monitor and adjust production schedules to respond to constraints and changes.
Collaborate with Production, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, and Warehouse teams.
Support material planning activities, including supplier delivery schedules.
Communicate with suppliers to follow up on deliveries and manage delays.
Analyze production and supply chain data using Excel and planning systems.
Assist with administrative activities related to procurement and planning processes.
Gain practical experience with Oracle ERP and end-to-end manufacturing operations.
