devDept Software S.r.l. in Bologna is seeking a dedicated working student to join our development team. From day one you will contribute to proof-of-concepts and code samples, receiving guidance from senior colleagues.

As you gain experience, you will work more independently, maintaining and extending our collection of source code samples (20-24 hours per week) and providing technical support for international customers as needed.

• Student in Computer Sciences or a similar field of study.
• Some coding experience and software skills in C# and WPF.
• Good English communication skills.

Based in Bologna, Italy, devDept was founded in 2006 with the commitment to deliver easy-to-use CAD software components to the engineering industry. The development team consists of a unique mix of programmers, mathematicians, and engineers.

devDept's software components power nearly 1500 unique applications running on millions of computers worldwide. They are used in a wide range of industries including CAD/CAM/CAE and AM, scanning and metrology, medical, dental, BIM, construction, mining, and other large capital asset industries.

Customers include TRUMPF, Siemens, Amada, Porsche, Honda, Boeing, Rolls-Royce, CLAAS, Samsung, Mitutoyo, Komatsu, and Hexagon.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Student Software Developer for our Bologna office.

The position

We are looking for a dedicated working student for our development team. From day one, you will be involved in the development of proof of concepts and source code samples, receiving guidance from senior colleagues.

As you gain more experience, you will work more independently. Your task will be to maintain and extend the collection of our source code samples (20-24 working hours/week).
