devDept, based in Bologna, Italy, is seeking a 3D Graphics Software Developer to join its international team and contribute to CAD graphics components. You will maintain and extend our graphics kernel, work with OpenGL/DirectX, and implement features such as lighting, textures, environment mapping, and scene graphs within Visual Studio.

Competenze

• Proven experience with C# and at least 3+ years in graphics software
• Strong knowledge of DirectX and OpenGL libraries
• Solid understanding of computational geometry and 3D graphics algorithms
• Experience designing software architecture for large projects
• Very good English language skills
• CAD experience would be an advantage

Mansioni

• Maintain and extend the CAD graphics kernel used across industries
• Work with OpenGL/DirectX abstraction layer to implement features
• Implement navigation (Zoom/Pan/Rotate), lighting, shadows, and reflections

devDept's software components power nearly 1500 unique applications running on millions of computers worldwide. They are used in a wide range of industries including CAD/CAM/CAE and AM, scanning and metrology, medical, dental, BIM, construction, mining, and other large capital asset industries.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a 3D Graphics Software Developer for our Bologna office.

The position

Maintaining and extending our CAD control (graphics kernel), employed in industries including: aerospace, manufacturing, construction, mining, health care.

You will be working in Microsoft Visual Studio, using issue-tracking and requirements management tools, and continuous-integration systems.
