Baker Hughes is seeking a Manufacturing Specialist- Manufacturing Engineering Specialist for Testing Projects in Italy. You will serve as the String Test focal point, coordinating from design to test execution, ensuring customer requirements are met and non-conformities are resolved.

You will drive test methodologies, collaborate with project management and operations, and promote digitalization of testing procedures while supporting decarbonization initiatives with university partners.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM disciplines required.
• Six Sigma or equivalent quality training preferred.
• Strong communication skills and fluent English required.
• Knowledge of value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S and lean tools is a plus.

Mansioni

• Drive the string test design timeline to meet customer requirements and resolve critical issues.
• Review contractual test requirements and provide feedback to test engineering.
• Draft official test reports and certificates for test runs.
• Manage project budget and mitigate extra costs with the customer and PM team.
• Provide technical direction and support on critical quality factors during design and testing.
• Provide mechanical system support on test benches during plant erection.
• Capture testing lessons learned in dedicated systems.
• Perform site performance tests and provide on-demand technical assistance.
