Gerresheimer Italia seeks a senior Supply Chain leader to manage and optimize end-to-end operations for the Moulded Glass Division in Italy, ensuring high service levels, efficient production planning, and cost-effective logistics.

You will align demand with capacity, coordinate production, logistics, and inventory, monitor KPIs, lead a cross-functional team, and drive continuous improvement across planning, manufacturing, inventory, and distribution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in Production Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management.
• Experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices or other highly regulated industries is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning and Supply Chain processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain planning methodologies and KPI management.

Responsabilités

• Production Planning & S&OP: Align demand, capacity, and inventory; define production priorities and monitor plan adherence.
• Logistics & Warehousing: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities while improving efficiency, service levels, and cost control.
• Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels, reduce obsolete inventory, improve inventory turnover.
• Performance Management: Monitor KPIs such as OTIF, costs, and planning accuracy; drive corrective actions.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize, digitalize, and automate processes.
• People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop planning and logistics teams.
