Job summary

Gerresheimer is seeking a Supply Chain Manager in Parma to oversee end-to-end supply chain operations for the Moulded Glass Division in Italy, ensuring high service levels, optimized production planning, and cost-conscious logistics.

You will lead production planning, logistics, inventory management, and cross-functional improvements, develop KPI-driven governance, and coach planning teams in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience in Production Planning, Logistics and Inventory Management.
• Previous experience managing teams and cross-functional projects.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, medical devices or other highly regulated industries is considered an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Production Planning and Supply Chain processes.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP is preferred).
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with Supply Chain planning methodologies and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Production Planning & S&OP: Align customer demand, production capacity, and inventory; define production priorities and monitor plan adherence.
• Logistics & Warehousing: Manage transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities while improving efficiency, service levels, and cost control.
• Inventory Management: Optimize stock levels, reduce obsolete inventory, improve inventory turnover, and balance customer service with working capital.
• Performance Management: Monitor key Supply Chain KPIs, such as OTIF, inventory levels, logistics costs, and planning accuracy, driving corrective actions and supporting budgeting and reporting.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead cross-functional initiatives to standardize, digitalize, and automate Supply Chain processes.
• People Leadership: Lead, coach, and develop planning and logistics teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
