Job summary

Freudenberg Group is seeking a seasoned production leader to manage manufacturing operations at our site in Italy. You will oversee KPI communication, employee performance feedback, and development of a high-performing production team while enforcing safety, quality, and environmental standards.

The role calls for strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and hands-on process improvement to maximize productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering or technical discipline.
5+ years of production experience.
Excellent communication skills with very strong interpersonal abilities.
Strong leadership skills.
Lean Manufacturing experience with proven ability to lead in manufacturing.
SAP experience preferred.
Strong ability to coach employees and manage conflicts.

Responsibilities

Knowledge of production KPIs and communicating KPIs to production staff.
Interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Evaluate and provide timely feedback on employee performance.
Motivate and develop a cohesive production team.
Communicate and enforce policies for safety, quality, and the environment.
Maintain production and attendance records.
Drive goals and outcomes; shift supervision coverage.
Make timely decisions to maintain production output and direct staff.
Recommend and implement process improvements to maximize productivity, reduce waste, improve quality, reduce costs and ensure a safe work environment.
