Commscope is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead strategic sourcing for polymers, plastics, and mechanical components in an Ancona-based manufacturing environment.

You will drive cost reductions, manage supplier contracts with legal and finance, and implement data-driven procurement processes using SAP and Power BI. Strong negotiation and supplier relationship skills are essential for success.

• Experience leading sourcing for polymers, plastics, metals, and machined components in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven track record in achieving cost reductions and optimizing total cost of ownership (TCO).
• Ability to structure and renegotiate supplier contracts with cross-functional teams (engineering, legal, finance).

Mansioni

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to reduce costs and improve TCO across polymers, molded plastics, and mechanical components.
• Conduct market research, identify suppliers, assess risks, and monitor cost trends.
• Lead renegotiations and optimize vendor contracts for favorable pricing and terms.
• Implement e-sourcing tools and data analysis to optimize procurement processes.
• Identify, onboard, and manage suppliers for polymers, plastics, sheet metal, machined parts and protective materials.
• Manage full contract lifecycle in collaboration with legal, ensuring compliance.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs on quality, delivery, and cost; address gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, finance, and production to align procurement with schedules.
