Job summary

Marposs Corp. in Emilia-Romagna seeks a Purchasing professional to source electronic and electromechanical components for production needs.

Reporting to the Purchasing Manager, you will manage supplier portfolios, negotiate terms, monitor lead times, and collaborate with Engineering and Production Planning to ensure continuity and cost efficiency. Strong analytical and negotiation skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic and electromechanical components.
• Familiarity with BOMs (Bills of Materials).
• Knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes.
• Good command of ERP systems, preferably SAP.

Responsibilities

• Selecting, qualifying, and developing national and international suppliers.
• Negotiating prices, commercial terms, and supply contracts.
• Monitoring component availability, lead times, and obsolescence.
• Managing supply chain issues and supplier-related risks.
• Collaborating with Engineering and Production Planning to ensure continuity.
• Analyzing costs and contributing to cost-saving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Supporting the identification and development of new strategic sourcing opportunities.
