Job summary
MSC Cruises is seeking a Retail Demand Planning Analyst to analyze sales data and estimate needs for assigned merchandise categories across vessels and regions.
You will collaborate with Category Managers to manage stock levels, create and share demand forecasts, monitor sell-through, and ensure timely purchase orders with the replenishment team.
Fluent in English and Italian, you bring advanced Excel skills and experience with BI tools; the role offers a competitive gross salary in Italy.
Qualifications
- Degree in Economics, Mathematics or Engineering.
- Advanced Excel and BI tools knowledge is a plus.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
Responsibilities
- Define sales forecasting per item, vessel and area.
- Estimate sales according to pax forecast and historical data.
- Collaborate with Category Managers to manage stock and forecasting.
- Create and update demand forecasts to meet OTB targets.
- Effective stock management according to OTB trends.
- Review range monthly by Area and by ship, enforcing one-in-one-out.
- Monitor sell-through and SKU performance; share results in meetings.
- Monitor markdowns and promotions; provide feedback for inventory efficiency.
- Ensure PO generations with replenishment for timely orders.
- Attend quarterly reviews with key vendors for collaborative planning.
- Maintain data in the Retail Global Calendar and report on RDA.
- Notify anomalies and coordinate product changes with involved departments.
