AVL Italia S.p.A. is seeking a Strategic Purchaser to lead procurement for complex projects and multi-category initiatives. You will interface with project teams, drive supplier strategies, and manage cross-functional procurement with a focus on cost control and risk management.

The role requires 3+ years in strategic purchasing, experience in automotive or machinery sectors, and fluency in German and English. SAP experience and travel willingness are essential.

Competenze

• Commercial or technical education required.
• Minimum 3 years in strategic purchasing, preferably in project-driven or industrial environments.
• Experience in automotive, machinery, or systems engineering is a plus.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Proficiency with ERP/procurement software (SAP).
• Willingness to travel and strong negotiation skills.

• Serves as main liaison between purchasing and project teams to ensure alignment with goals.
• Develops project/product procurement strategies to meet technical, budgetary, and timeline constraints.
• Coordinates procurement of critical components for complex products/projects.
