Johnson Electric Asti S.r.l. is seeking a Business Development Manager to identify growth opportunities and drive profitable projects within the automotive sector.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, engage with customers, and influence product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. The role requires strong communication, market insight, and 3+ years in business development, preferably in automotive, with English fluency and German as a bonus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or related field
• 3+ years in Business Development or similar, automotive preferred
• Technical knowledge of cooling fans and BLDC motors is a strong advantage
• Experience with digital technologies, including Power BI and AI tools
• Experience engaging with customers and managing RFQ processes
• Excellent communication across cross-functional teams and strong problem-solving
• Fluency in English required; German is a plus

Mansioni

• Identify and drive profitable growth opportunities through market insights and trends
• Develop and implement growth strategies with regional teams
• Monitor revenue, profitability and BOM targets to support strategy and reviews
• Collaborate with R&D to shape product roadmaps and enhancements
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and cross-functional teams
• Assess RFQs and project viability to support strategic decisions
• Support Sales with product strategy, value proposition, pricing, and GTM approach
