Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a finance analyst to support performance analysis, budgeting and forecasting. You will reconcile data, ensure internal controls, and prepare detailed reports to drive financial and operational improvements. Fluency in English and Italian, plus strong Excel/SAP skills, are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Up to 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or project support
• Understanding of internal controls and audit requirements
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in English and Italian; proficiency in Excel and SAP S/4HANA

Responsibilities

• Analyze business performance against budget and forecast, identifying variances and proposing improvements
• Collaborate with factory controller to understand financial drivers and performance dynamics
• Reconcile financial data and review exceptions to validate report accuracy
• Maintain audit trails and documentation for audits
• Ensure accuracy of project balance sheets, income statements and cash flow forecasts
• Support monthly project reviews and performance reporting
• Maintain ERP data accuracy (planned, actual, forecasted revenues and costs)
