Job summary

Naples Bay Resort & Marina, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property in Naples, Florida, seeks a strategic Director of Finance to lead all financial operations for the resort, marina, spa, F&B outlets, and related revenue centers.

Reporting to the General Manager, the candidate will drive budgeting, forecasting, GAAP-compliant reporting, audits, and risk management while partnering with department leaders to maximize profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressive hospitality finance experience.
• At least 3 years in a Director of Finance or equivalent leadership role within a resort or luxury hotel.
• Strong knowledge of hotel accounting systems, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Experience managing multiple revenue centers including lodging, F&B, and recreational operations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial leadership and strategy for the resort, marina, spa, F&B outlets, and related revenue centers.
• Develop and oversee annual budgets, capital budgets, and long-range financial plans.
• Monitor performance, identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
• Prepare monthly forecasts, variance analyses, and management reports.
• Present financial results to ownership, asset managers, and leadership.
• Oversee accounting functions, GAAP compliance, and internal controls.
• Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and working capital.
• Coordinate audits, tax filings, and insurance requirements.
• Mentor and develop the accounting and finance team; drive succession planning.
