McDermott International seeks a senior Cost Controller to lead cost control for complex energy projects, influencing forecasts, contracts, and risk handling across project controls teams. The role spans bids, execution, and close-out, with emphasis on change management and cost performance in oil, gas, subsea, and offshore wind sectors.

The candidate will drive EAC development, prepare financial correspondence, and ensure project controls are aligned with company processes.

Competenze

• 12+ years of experience in project control activities.
• Supervisory experience in a matrix environment.
• Solid background in the oil and gas industry.
• Familiarity with Primavera P6.
• Degree in Engineering/Construction/Business or related field.
• Ability to interpret contracts and coordinate project financials.

Mansioni

• Interpret contracts and advise the Project Director on application.
• Input to the Project Execution Plan and ensure proper project setup.
• Coordinate financial, contractual, and administrative issues with Project Accounting.
• Monitor costs and revenues; prepare reports.
• Negotiate costs and revenue changes with client/subcontractors; escalate as needed.
• Maintain and set up Project Controls systems; support claims development.
• Develop the monthly estimate at completion (EAC) for the project.
• Prepare financial and contractual correspondence related to Project Controls.
• Maintain records of financial/contractual matters; monitor milestones and dates.
• Prepare contract supplements on larger projects; attend cost, progress, and contractual meetings.
• Lead the Change Management process and manage PROM (Risk & Opportunity Management).
• Prepare the project close-out report and oversee cost/progress functions.
• Support regional/global Project Controls with ad hoc tasks and benchmarking.
• Collaborate to improve schedules, cost estimates, contract strategies, and bid support.
• Ensure adherence to McDermott systems and processes.
