Golden Goose Group in Milan seeks a Store Operations Manager to oversee daily store activities, maintain inventory accuracy, and ensure procedures align with HQ goals to support sales.

You will optimize back‑of‑house efficiency, coordinate omnichannel operations, train staff on tools (Salesforce, Xstore, Stealth), and uphold health, safety and GDPR standards. Fluency in Italian and English is required.

This full‑time role is based in Milan and offers growth within a premium retail environment.

Mission

The Store Operations Manager manages daily store operations, keeping inventory accurate and procedures running smoothly to support overall sales goals. Working within a retail excellence environment, this role organizes back-of-house activities, improves inventory efficiency, and serves as the main point of contact between the store team and Headquarters.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Inventory Control & Stock Management

Ensure accurate stock movements, traceability, and product security by managing inventory records through internal systems.

Plan cycle counts, manage replenishments and seamlessly support omnichannel operational activities.

Coordinate stock keepers on daily and weekly tasks, optimizing and organizing back-of-house spaces for maximum efficiency.

Business & Store Support

Support staff members and management by coordinating all in-store operational activities that drive sales and client experience.

Monitor operational KPIs, identify process improvements, and ensure all store operations align strictly with HQ guidelines and procedures.

Maintain continuous collaboration with HQ, actively supporting store launches, special projects, and operational initiatives.

Training

Train and onboard store staff on company tools, digital systems, and established operational procedures.

Health, Safety & Maintenance

Ensure the store is maintained in flawless condition by liaising directly with the company Maintenance Department.

Guarantee compliance with company Health & Safety regulations and standards.

Loss Prevention & Operational Compliance

Ensure compliance with security and loss prevention standards

Manage store operational procedures, including compliance with GDPR and standard operating protocols.

Key Requirements

• Fluency in Italian and English. Additional language knowledge will be considered as a plus, reflecting our commitment to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
• Demonstrated experience in retail operations, stock management, or store administration within a premium retail environment.
• Strong command of retail management systems and digital tools (e.g., Salesforce, Xstore, Stealth).
• Excellent organizational, leadership, and analytical skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Effective time management, prioritizing tasks efficiently.
• Strong team player.
