EssilorLuxottica in Milan is seeking a Store Concept Design Intern with a passion for architecture and interior design. You will join a creative team to shape innovative retail experiences from day one.

The role blends aesthetics with material exploration, 2D/3D drawings, and prototype development, offering exposure to prestigious eyewear brands and global retail projects.

Competenze

• Master's Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Knowledge of Autocad 2D/3D, Blender, Rhino or 3Ds Max.
• Proficient English and Italian, French a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Mansioni

• Support the design team in developing creative concepts and mood boards.
• Conduct material research and support concept development.
• Assist in 2D and 3D drawings throughout the design process.
• Develop furniture drawings and perform related design research.

Your role

We are looking for a Store Concept Design Intern to join our office in Milan. We are seeking a passionate, creative, curious, and motivated designer with a strong interest in architecture, interior design, art, and innovation. The ideal candidate combines a keen eye for aesthetics with a genuine desire to explore new ideas, materials, and cultural influences. From Day 1, you will have the opportunity to contribute to exciting projects and play an active role in shaping innovative retail and architectural experiences that continue to strengthen EssilorLuxottica's global presence.

Main Responsibilities

• Support the design team in developing creative concepts, mood boards, and research into emerging interior design and architectural trends.
• Conduct material research and selection to support concept development.
• Assist in the production of 2D and 3D drawings throughout the design process.
• Develop furniture drawings and perform related design research.
• Support the development and improvement of design prototypes.
• Prepare and contribute to concept and project presentations.
• Support the design process through hand sketches, technical detailing, and design development.
• Organize and maintain the material library and archive.
• Contribute with a creative and innovative approach to architectural and interior design projects.
• Collaborate with the team to translate concepts into innovative and practical design solutions.

Main Requirements

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Architecture or Interior Design.
• Previous experience in a similar role or field will be considered a plus.
• Knowledge of Autocad 2D and 3D.
• Knowledge of Blender, Rhino, or 3Ds Max.
• Knowledge of Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Italian, French will be considered a plus.
• Good communication and presentation skills.
• Strong interest in architecture, interior design, art, and innovation.
