Job summary

The St. Regis Rome is recruiting a Steward for a temporary contract to support Akira Back restaurant, reporting to the Executive Chef and part of the AB Restaurant team delivering guest moments.

Responsibilities include cleaning, stock monitoring, hygiene compliance and adherence to brand standards. Availability for late nights, weekends and holidays is required, with experience in this role and knowledge of Italian preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in steward role.
• Understanding of kitchen organization and luxury hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of Italian language.

For the opening of the new exclusive Akira Back restaurant, The St. Regis Rome is recruiting for a Steward (temporary contract).

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Executive Chef, the role will form part of the AB Restaurant team, which takes pride in engaging with our guests and creating exquisite moments.

CORE WORK ACTIVITIES

• Cleaning bar and restaurant equipment and carrying out washing tasks safely and responsibly
• Cleaning of work areas
• Monitoring stock levels of glassware, cutlery and operational equipment
• Compliance with current food hygiene and safety regulations
• Adherence to brand standards and company or hotel policies and procedures
• Waste management in accordance with legal requirements
• This role requires adherence to quality assurance standards.
