Tecno Piemonte Spa, now part of the Apave Group, seeks a Laboratory Technician for the Steel Department of its Materials Testing Laboratory in Lenta (VC), Italy. The role is long-term and full-time, focusing on steel tests and reporting.

Minimum education includes a geometra/perito industriale diploma or an engineering/materials science degree; Excel proficiency and a Category B driving license are required.

Competenze

• Diploma in geometra, perito industriale, or degree in engineering or materials science.
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Team spirit and strong problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Category B driving license.

Mansioni

• Performing laboratory tests on steel samples (tensile, bending, impact, etc.).
• Data processing and preparation of test certificates/reports.
• Maintaining records for samples and test results.
• Providing support for daily department management.
• Demonstrating proactivity and problem-solving orientation.

We're actively recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join the Steel Department of the Materials Testing Laboratory at its Lenta (VC) office/laboratory in Italy for a long-term position.

Tecno Piemonte Spa, founded as a private and independent company, is now part of the Apave Group. It provides services, particularly testing and certification, in the civil engineering and environmental sectors. It operates both nationally and internationally, supporting public administrations, companies, and individuals through its facilities and expertise.

Let's walk you through your day-to-day

Once you've completed your onboarding, you'll undertake various assignments:

• Performing Laboratory tests on steel samples (bars, sections, bols etc), such as tensile, bending, impact, chemical analysis, hardness etc
• Data processing and preparation of test certificates/ reports
• Maintaining records necessary for managing samples and test results
• Supporting the daily management of the Department (material acceptance and registration, document preparation, material preparation)
• Proactivity and problem-solving orientation

Contract type : Fixed-term contract with a view to a permanent position. Compensation commensurate with the candidate's experience

Availability : Full-time, Monday to Friday
