The role involves performing tests on steel samples, preparing reports, and supporting daily department management. Candidates should have a relevant diploma or degree and good organizational skills. We’re actively recruiting a Laboratory Technician to join the Steel Department of the Materials Testing Laboratory at its Lenta (VC) office/laboratory in Italy for a long‑term position.

Tecno Piemonte Spa, founded as a private and independent company, is now part of the Apave Group. It provides services, particularly testing and certification, in the civil engineering and environmental sectors. It operates both nationally and internationally, supporting public administrations, companies, and individuals through its facilities and expertise.

Day‑to‑Day Responsibilities

• Performing laboratory tests on steel samples (bars, sections, bolts, etc.), such as tensile, bending, impact, chemical analysis, hardness, etc.
• Data processing and preparation of test certificates/reports.
• Maintaining records necessary for managing samples and test results.
• Supporting the daily management of the Department (material acceptance and registration, document preparation, material preparation).
• Proactivity and problem‑solving orientation.

Contract & Availability

Contract type: Fixed‑term contract with a view to a permanent position. Compensation commensurate with the candidate’s experience.

Availability: Full‑time, Monday to Friday.

Qualification Requirements

• Diploma in "geometra", "perito industriale", or degree in engineering or materials science.

Skills & Personal Qualities

• Good interpersonal and organizational skills, and accuracy.
• Team spirit and strong problem‑solving skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Category B driving license.
