Job summary

Pirelli seeks a Statutory Financial Statements Specialist to join the Finance team in Milan. The role focuses on statutory accounting, financial reporting, and timely closing for Italian entities, aligned with ITA GAAP or IFRS and related regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of relevant experience in audits or multinational settings, strong Italian tax knowledge, SAP/Oracle proficiency, and excellent English/Italian communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in audit firms or multinational companies.
• Good knowledge of Italian accounting standards and IAS/IFRS.
• Knowledge of SAP FI/CO/MM/AA/SD and Oracle applications.
• Good understanding of Italian corporate and tax regulations.
• Good knowledge of English and Italian.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support statutory accounting and financial reporting for Italian group companies.
• Assist in preparation of analyses and documentation for accounting, reporting and closing processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual closing with accurate and timely information.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure consistency and reliability of financial reporting.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting and closing processes.
• Assist external auditors by preparing documentation and coordinating information requests.
