Job summary

Pirelli is seeking a motivated intern to join the Statutory Financial Statement and General Accounting team at headquarters. You will support routine accounting tasks, monthly and quarterly reporting, and assist in closing activities in an international, fast-paced environment.

The role provides hands-on experience with Italian GAAP and IFRS, VAT settlements, and collaboration with external stakeholders. Proficiency in English and Italian is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Economics (administrative - accounting profile).
• Good knowledge of Italian general accounting principles, IFRS and MS Excel.
• Good knowledge of Italian and English.
• Problem-solving capacity and proactive mindset.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities for the Italian Group companies, ensuring accurate records and contributing to period-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, following up on outstanding items and ensuring data reliability.
• Contribute to VAT settlements, recurring tax compliance activities and selected asset capitalization processes under Italian GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Support the preparation of statutory financial statements, quarterly and annual reporting packages and related documentation.
• Prepare reports and information for external stakeholders, including supervisory authorities, auditors and statutory bodies.
• Contribute to the improvement of accounting processes, internal controls and closing/reporting procedures.
