Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG is seeking a Staff Product Application Engineer to bridge cutting-edge technology with customer needs in the automotive and semiconductor space.

You will design-in collaterals, provide product-level technical support, and help drive Go-to-Market activities to enable design-win while collaborating across Sales, R&D and Product Management.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Physics or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience within semiconductors or automotive industry in application engineering, system engineering or technical marketing.
• Experience with Power Electronics and/or MOSFETs.
• Background in circuit design, analog circuits and/or measurement technology and lab equipment.
• Fluency in English (mandatory).

About the Role

As a Staff Product Application Engineer, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and customer needs.

Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for design-in collaterals and for providing technical customer support on product level.
• Support technical Go-to-Market activities on product level to enable design-in / design-win
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level customer support on product level
• Act as Technical Customer Interface on product level in the commercialization phase
• Support Product Management with technical and engineering knowledge
• Provide technical product trainings to internal and external partners
• Provide structured input from market to Sales and R&D organization

You communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences, solve problems creatively and proactively, always keeping customer needs central to your work. You excel at building relationships and collaborating across cross-functional teams, thriving in team environments while also demonstrating the ability to work independently.

Qualifications
