Block Labs is seeking a highly capable Go backend engineer to join our distributed, real‑time platform teams in Italy. You will own high‑volume transactional services, shaping architecture and implementing robust production systems.

You'll design and ship Go services that handle payments, balances, and decisions with strict correctness, strong observability, and security. Collaboration across product and platform teams is essential, with ownership from development to production.

Competenze

Deep proficiency in Go on high-volume, transactional systems.
Strong judgment on multi-tenancy, event-driven architecture, queues, reliability, observability and security.
Evidence of carrying the whole chain from objective to production delivery.
Ability to make reversible calls under ambiguity.
Experience designing APIs for multi-tenant or white-label products (nice-to-have).

Design and implement distributed Go services handling high‑volume transactional workloads.
Make correctness guarantees for balances and transactional behaviour.
Run the agentic system: context, decomposition, execution and verification.
