Cubbit, a next‑gen cloud storage company, is hiring a Backend Developer to design, develop and maintain scalable services. The role offers full remote or hybrid work with offices in Bologna and Milan, and ESOP participation.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in backend development, deep Go knowledge, cloud services experience, and strong networking skills. You’ll collaborate across teams to build reliable distributed systems and improve performance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in backend development.
• Strong knowledge of Go (Golang).
• Understanding of cloud services.
• Experience with Git.
• Networking fundamentals (sockets, HTTP, APIs).
• Experience with AI-based and agentic development tools.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Experience with Distributed Systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop software for existing and new products.
• Review teammates' code and discuss changes.
• Transform requirements into actionable tasks.
• Analyze tracing to spot bottlenecks and issues.
