AGCO Corporation in Italy is seeking a Platform Validation Engineer (Harvesting) to lead validation activities for New Product Development. You will define and execute validation plans, coordinating with experts to plan tests with lab and field teams.

The role requires a solid engineering background, 6–8 years in validation, and strong cross-functional skills to drive quality across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software domains.

The validation Engineer is part of validation team. He/ She is responsible for leading & managing the validation activities related to New Product Development Project. This person ensures the definition & the execution of the validation plan for new development in Engineering. In addition, he / she works with experts to define the content of the tests & to plan them with the Laboratory or field test team leaders. The Platform Validation Engineer (PVE) Harvesting is a member of the Harvesting Validation & reports to the Team Leader DVP, Reliability Growth (RG) & Risk Management. As leader in validation, he/she is actively participate to continuous improvement initiatives related to Validation & Engineering.

Your Impact

• Lead Design Validation Planning (DVP) for NPI and related projects by developing, reviewing, approving and executing validation plans in collaboration with technical experts.
• Coordinate and oversee all validation activities across NPI, PDR, PCO, and CPM projects, including test preparation, execution, data analysis, and field testing.
• Provide strong validation leadership by representing the validation voice in NPI core teams, participating in DFMEA and New Content Analysis, and driving high-quality test requests.
• Manage validation resources and schedules by leading the machine fleet, prioritizing usage, maintaining BOM accuracy, and aligning test and machine schedules across the organization.
• Ensure governance, reporting and continuous improvement through metric tracking, 8D problem resolution, audit support (ISO 9001), process compliance, cross-functional coordination and ongoing validation improvements.

Your Experience And Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field (e.g., Mathematics, Data Science, Electronics).
• 6–8 years of experience in new product development and validation, preferably with agricultural or similar machinery.
• Strong understanding of validation principles and end-to-end machine systems, including mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and software components.
• Excellent communication (oral and written), leadership, interpersonal, documentation, planning and organisational skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation

Applicable salary range: €35,000 - €55,000 gross annual salary.

The compensation range specified in this job posting represents an indicative range for the role. Final remuneration will be defined based on the selected candidate’s experience, skills and qualifications, in compliance with applicable EU pay transparency and pay equity regulations.

Your Workplace

You will work in 4 days Onsite from our Breganze site and 1 day Work from home.
