Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific in Italy is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join the Early Development Services Team in the EMEA region. The role requires Phase I experience and will coordinate cross-functional teams across time, cost, and quality for advanced development projects.

You will serve as the primary sponsor liaison, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining effective communication and risk mitigation across global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification.
• 8+ years’ experience in project management or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary contact between the sponsor and the organization at the project level.
• Ensure escalation pathways adhered to internally and externally.
• Define clear delineation of responsibilities for regional leads or vendors when needed.
• Accountable for overall delivery of the cross-functional project (time, cost, quality).
• Demonstrate financial stewardship through budget alignment and contract understanding.
