Successful candidates should have experience with modern programming languages, CI/CD processes, and leading large-scale infrastructure design. Competenze

Amazon Leo is a low Earth orbit satellite broadband network designed to deliver fast, reliable internet to customers and communities around the world. The system is built with the capacity, flexibility, and performance required to serve a wide range of customers, from individual households to schools, hospitals, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in locations without reliable connectivity.

As the SAP Manufacturing Integration & Intelligence (SAP MII) developer, you will manage the design, development, and implementation of SAP MII projects connected to Enterprise Systems that allow for rapid development and production of Space Hardware. The implementation of these systems is critical to scalability and cost-effective business operations. We are looking for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced, start‑up‑like environment. To be successful you need to be highly motivated, detail‑oriented, and committed to the highest standards of execution.

You will conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and improvements. Collaborate with functional owners, architects, and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of internal customers in manufacturing. Review program codes and correct MII program errors. Maintain and update existing program codes as needed. Develop technical specifications and estimations for assigned projects. Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards and solve production problems in a timely manner.

Key job responsibilities
  • Build SAP ME and SAP MII based solutions and handle all deployment related activities, including reporting and ERP/shop floor integration.
  • Participate in Integration Test, User Acceptance Test, and MES startup to ensure success and meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure that deployed applications perform as per customer expectations and maintain performance.
  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) using SAP ME and SAP MII as the service based on business requirements.
  • Lead solution design, develop SAP MII applications to populate real and historical data from data sources such as Kepware, SAP S/4 HANA, and shop floor systems for reporting and analysis.
  • Support improvements for areas including PP‑PI, QM, MM, PM, PCo, and Scheduling.
  • Develop web applications using SAP MII, PCo, Kepware, and SAP S/4 HANA.
  • Develop printing labels, traveler documents, and purchase order receipt labels, process order receipts, and shop floor forms in MII system.
  • Improve performance of applications and servers through performance tuning/sizing of servers and fine‑tuning SQL queries.
  • Support various testing procedures (Unit testing, Integration testing, classroom testing, shop floor testing).

Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low‑latency, high‑speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Our team focuses on building Enterprise System Applications for manufacturing satellites. Your customers are Manufacturing, Operations, and the Supply Chain teams at Kuiper.

Basic Qualifications
  • Experience leading the design, automation, deployment, and support of large‑scale infrastructure.

Amazon is a total compensation company. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience.
