Job summary

Thermo Fisher Scientific is offering a university placement for a graduate student in a Master’s program in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or Biological Sciences. You will engage in project activities, support project documentation, and assist with customer visits while gaining exposure to Changepoint project tracking tools.

Ideal candidates have no more than 1 year since graduation, strong interpersonal skills, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Graduate student completing a Master’s degree in Chemistry/Pharmacy/Biological Sciences or similar.
• 0 years of work experience required; internships preferred.
• Experience using MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional presence.
• Native (or proficient) in English.

Responsibilities

• Supports project activities multifunctional team both internal and external to PDS.
• Supports senior Project Managers by issuing project documentations.
• Supports customer visits.
• Updates and maintains projects on Changepoint platform.
• Drafts the Changes of Scopes/Project expansions based on Patheon Italy cost structure and guidelines from technical teams.
• Support change control management process.

• Supports project activities multifunctional team both internal and external to PDS;

How will you get here?

• Graduate student completing a Master's degree Chemistry/ Pharmacy/ Biological Sciences or similar. Please note that students must be either 1) currently enrolled in University and about to enter their final year of curriculum or 2) have graduated no more that one (1) year before the anticipated start date.
• This position will fulfill a 6 months University placement within curriculum.
• 0 years of work experience required; previous related internships or apprenticeships preferred.
• Experience using computer applications such as MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and strong professional presence.
• Native (or proficient) in English.
