Indie Campers is seeking a Tourism & Operations Intern to support guest handling at the Terrasini depot, helping guests start their road trips and ensuring smooth returns. The role blends frontline guest service with back-office support in a dynamic travel marketplace.

You will work in a fast-paced environment, liaising with teams to align reservations, prep campervans, and coordinate fleet logistics. This internship offers hands-on experience in hospitality and operations.

Competenze

• Currently a student or recent graduate in a related field.
• Fluent English with work permit (if applicable) and valid driver’s license.
• Interest in hospitality and international environments; strong customer focus.
• Willing to learn and assist in fast-paced settings.

Mansioni

• Front-office: check-ins/outs, guest registration, payments, explain campervan features, terms and upsell extras.
• Back-office: align reservations with available campers, prep vehicles and road trip kits, coordinate fleets.
• Quality control: maintain campers in top condition and address maintenance needs.
• Support: assist team with stock monitoring and logistics.

THE ROLE We’re on the lookout for passionate students or recent graduates who want to dive into the exciting world of RV and campervan rentals and gain hands-on tourism experience at our depot in Via Gazzara, 13, 90049 Terrasini PA, Italy. As our Tourism & Operations Intern, you’ll be the friendly face of our brand - welcoming guests, setting them up for road trips of a lifetime, and ensuring their journey ends just as wonderfully as it began. WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON? Front-office activities:

• Customer service and sales: Take care of check-ins and check-outs, register guests, process payments, explain campervan functionalities, terms and conditions, upsell road trip extras.

Back-office activities:

• Operations handling: Align the reservations with the available campervans, verify and prepare campers and road trip extras and kits.
• Quality control: Maintain the campervans in top condition, identify and act on possible maintenance or repair needs.
• Support activities: Support the team in monitoring the existing stock, coordinating the fleet of campervans, troubleshooting operational issues.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

• You are a student or recent graduate in Hospitality, Tourism, International Studies, Business Administration or a related field looking for an internship;
• You are fluent in English, have a work permit (if applicable), and a valid driver's licence (for both manual and automatic vehicles);
• You like international environments and meeting new cultures;
• You possess a natural talent for connecting with people and have a strong customer service orientation;
• You have a problem-solving mindset, thriving to create solutions and feeling comfortable with getting your hands dirty.
