Job summary

BYD is seeking a Spare Parts Specialist based in Milan to manage spare parts orders, ensure stock availability and provide support to our dealer and service network. The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in automotive spare parts or aftersales and a strong command of Excel for data analysis.

You will collaborate with Aftersales, Service, and China Logistics to maintain high service levels and deliver accurate reports on stock and KPIs. English proficiency is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry, preferably in spare parts and/or aftersales.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including PivotTables, advanced formulas, data analysis, and reporting.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts orders from receipt to fulfilment.
• Monitor spare parts availability and address shortages.
• Provide daily operational support to the service network and dealerships.
• Collaborate with Aftersales, Service, and China Logistics departments.
• Prepare and update reports on sales, stock levels, backorders, and KPIs.
• Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain spare parts databases and related information systems.
• Support inventory planning and stock optimization.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Manage spare parts orders, overseeing the entire process from order receipt through to fulfilment.
• Monitor spare parts availability and manage any supply-related issues or shortages.
• Provide daily operational support to the service network and dealerships on spare parts, orders, and logistics-related matters.
• Collaborate with the Aftersales, Service, and China Logistics departments to ensure high service levels.
• Prepare and update periodic reports on sales, stock levels, backorders, and performance KPIs.
• Analyse data and monitor performance to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain and update spare parts databases and related information systems.
• Support inventory planning activities and stock optimisation.

Requirements
