Qascom in Bassano del Grappa, Italy, seeks a Security Software Engineer to join the Security Engineering division. You will design, develop, test, and deploy security software for space missions and government services, focusing on key management, cryptography, and secure communications.

You will collaborate with System Engineering, draft ECSS/GSWS/CCSDS-compliant docs, and perform security risk analyses. A strong background in multi-threaded software and cryptography plus Rust or C++ is

Competenze

Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Computer Engineering.
2 years of software development experience in complex or networked systems.
Experience in designing multi-threaded software.
Knowledge of applied cryptography.
Knowledge of Rust or C++ and strong English skills.

Mansioni

Design, develop, test and deploy space-ground systems, with focus on key management, telecommunication protocols for space applications, applied cryptography, and security services of satellite systems.
Support to the System Engineering, including requirements analysis, identification, and flow-down.
Drafting of technical documentation in compliance to ECSS, GSWS, CCSDS, etc.
Security Risk Analysis and Assessment.
