Revolv Space in Turin, Italy is seeking a PVA & Electrical Engineer to drive development, assembly, and testing of solar array systems for space missions. You will work with AIT and product teams to ensure high-quality PV solutions.

Responsibilities include designing jigs and tools, performing diverse tests, and analysing electrical circuits for solar arrays, with a focus on reliability under space conditions.

Competenze

• 5+ years of professional PVA experience.
• Soldering/PV welding and testing experience.
• Strong understanding of electrical and physical properties of solar cells and PV materials.
• Knowledge of physics in space engineering (radiation, vacuum, thermal stresses).
• Familiarity with space industry standards for PVA.

Mansioni

• Lead PVA process development, qualification, and execution.
• Design jigs, fixtures, and tools for PV cell alignment and integration.
• Conduct non-destructive and destructive tests to validate welded/bonded joints.
• Design and analyze electrical circuits of the solar array, including stringing and harness routing.
• Perform analyses to predict electrical performance under space conditions.
• Develop and implement test plans for electrical performance (I-V curves).
• Build prototypes of solar panel sections for testing.
• Execute environmental tests (TVAC, vibration) to simulate launch/on-orbit conditions.
• Conduct performance testing, including solar simulator tests to measure power output.
