Job summary

Based in Rome, Telespazio - Leonardo Space Division is seeking an AIV System Integrator to join the Ground Segment and Systems Engineering Unit. You will participate in integration, deployment, and IVV activities for space mission ground segments within an integrated IVV team.

Responsibilities include configuring test platforms, deploying OpenShift/Kubernetes, building CI/CD pipelines, and IaC automation with Terraform and Ansible, ensuring tests run smoothly and documentation is produced.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex Systems Verification & Validation (V&V) activities.
• Proven test data and tool identification for automated testing.
• Experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Setup, configure and maintain test, reference and target platforms.
• Install and update COTS and application software.
• Develop and maintain environments and tools for test campaigns, including automation.
• Support deployment and management of OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline implementation (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, ArgoCD).
• Develop deployment automation using Terraform and Ansible.
• Integrate application software and verify behavior.
• Execute test procedures per AIV plans and participate in TRRs/TRBs.
• Prepare test execution and installation reports.
• Support anomaly investigations with logs and screenshots.
• Contribute to IVV campaign scheduling and preparation.
